A PLACE WHERE THE ‘OTHER’ THRIVES
A series of immersive food experiences, documented through a collection of books & films incorporating imagery of the events alongside thoughts, poetry, essays & diary entries that offer the forest as a space to explore personal otherness.
For this ongoing project which began in 2023, I create foraged feasts in my overgrown ‘urban forest’ garden, where guests come together to reimagine themselves through costume & the senses. This process is informed by an interest in community-building, woodland folktales, & sensations of inner strangeness.
