An installation pop-up designed & created for Rafaela Cecconi’s NOOM, to exhibit the project & host topical conversations across multiple sites in nature. NOOM is a wearable skin accessory, which uses biotechnology to detect & visualise the wearer’s menstrual phases via bacterial colour changes.

The installation’s spiral-like structure is formed around the quaternary biological rhythm of the menstrual cycle, with an adaptable modular setup designed for pop-ups across varied locations. Flowing layers of linen are draped across the space, hand-dyed with the natural purple pigments used to create NOOM.

Both guests & passersby are drawn to enter the space, an intervention in the public landscape, & explore women’s health through guided dialogue & movement.
